CA Dances General Information
The festival concert will be held Saturday evening, January 24, 2026. Mixed-level dance classes taught by master instructors will also be held on-site that day. Dance companies, schools, studios, classes, and individual dancers will submit applications that are considered by a festival committee. This fee will include access to a limited number of spots in the mixed-level dance classes offered on the festival weekend. The festival is not adjudicated, meaning, judged. Though there are criteria for submission, the festival exists to celebrate, encourage, strengthen relationships and inspire audiences to appreciate, engage in and enjoy dance and the power of dance education experiences their whole lives. Every year, CDEA alternates which region of CA the festival is held in. We are pleased to be partnering with Culver City Unified School District to be near the vibrant dance community of Culver City and its neighboring schools and studios, companies and dance centers in Los Angeles. We hope to feature groups from Southern California and beyond!
