Versa-Style Street Dance Company

Join Versa-Style Street Dance Company teaching artists for an engaging Hip Hop/Street Dance foundation class rooted in culture, history, and technique. Participants will explore essential grooves, foundational movement, and the cultural context behind the styles, gaining a deeper understanding of Hip Hop’s origins and community-driven spirit. The class will conclude with a fun choreography phrase that dancers can take home to continue practicing.

Discover the Lester Horton legacy! This classical modern technique promotes muscular development, coordination, elasticity and range in the body. Class consists of warmup and progressions where students will dart, lunge and carve through space using specified movements that call for elongated length and reach. Beginning/Intermediate level.
