The California Dance Education Association is proud to announce its new state affiliate status within the National Dance Education Organization. This means that as a state affiliate, CDEA dance educators now have dual membership in both National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and California Dance Education Organization (CDEA) – two memberships for the price of one.
We celebrate this partnership for dance education. New and renewing members should send their applications and membership fees ($95 Professional, $150 Institutional High School or Studio, $200 College or University Institutional, $55 Retiree, and $25 Student) to:
NDEO
4948 St. Elmo Avenue, Suite #301
Bethesda, MD 20814
To download a membership form, please visit www.ndeo.org. After the initial membership is established, NDEO will send you annual renewal notices as your membership becomes due.
Welcome to the ever expanding state and national networks for dance arts education. Thank you for making this possible so that we can unite the discipline and develop a collective voice for dance arts education in the United States serving private schools of dance, performing arts organizations and outreach programs, PreK-12, and higher education.
Welcome to NDEO State Affiliate Status! Please call us at 510-704-8494 if we can help clarify how to take advantage of dual membership or when you will need to renew.

Please note we are now an affiliate of NDEO. We encourage all CDEA members to take advantage of this beneficial relationship and become dual members of both organizations. Dual membership is required for all active dance educators. Visit www.ndeo.org to join CDEA.
However, retired dance educators as well as members who are not active dance educators but simply support our organization can continue to use this brochure to join CDEA without dual membership in NDEO.
